Ming isn't well. Not washing or eating. Not drinking much. Got poo in her fur and had to be showered, which she didn't fight. Hasn't corrected her messy fur since.
Vet tomorrow, but I'm rather worried. And skint.
She did eat Greek yoghurt from my finger, but not from a saucer.

#projecthailmary releases in cinemas today. Thanks to my health, I can't do cinemas. Really really want to see this film like almost no other before it. *sigh* will have to grab it on stream.

I've always made stuff. Changing a computer game contents using a paperclip was my first, but all through my time working with #playschemes and play buses we made things, and my mum ran a soft toy business who supplied the local Lions chapter with lions for a long time, and i helped with that too.

Took the back off one of my printers, trying to fix an intermittent error. I don't think i solved it, but the printer is freshly lubricated now, at least!

Took the back off a p1s trying to locate the squeak that's tripping force sensor 1. Failed to fix, but it's at least oiled up nicely.

They know i will teach them to use any tool i have, and I encourage them with their various making (3d modelling and coding come up quite a lot as they both study games design)

Took ming to the vet today, one of her ear polyps took a claw during an itch and made it bleed. Despite cleaning the wound, it's got really inflamed, so in she went.

Got some steroid drops and there's some oral steroids as a backup. £105.

Again and again. Grrr. Printing now, but it's annoying.

Talking of the mundane, I actually did some soldering today; popped some headers on a pair of logic-level voltage converters and a USB-C breakout, plus knocked together a splitter from three 2-terminal terminal blocks and wire offcuts.

Also tried to remove the super capacitor from OH's old insurance black box, but the solder holding it in smelled suspiciously lead-ish and I couldn't cut it off, so binned it.
